Ryan Lenkey

Ryan Lenkey is originally from Wheeling, West Virginia and is currently a company member at State Street Ballet. Starting dance at 9 years old after seeing Billy Elliot the musical, he has had the privilege of training at Pittsburgh Youth Ballet, Next Generation Ballet, Boston Ballet, School of American Ballet, and Ballet West.

 

Ryan is a Kinesiology student and applies movement sciences to his teaching practices. He recognizes the many life lessons and character building traits taught through the art of ballet. He is passionate about helping to develop the love of dance as well as the necessary motor skills required for boys and men in dance.
